A greater awareness of ourselves.

Affluenza can be described as a highly contagious, socially transmitted sickness of abundant wealth, an unhealthy obsession with material goods, and the addiction for more. Some side effects include a false sense of accomplishment, emptiness, unnecessary debt, and an abundant amount of needless shit.

Over time, Affluenza has come to mean something different for me.

For me, Affluenza is the sickness of believing that more will make us whole, when what we truly need is a greater awareness of ourselves.

With that being said…

I’m done living a life in and of recovery. I’m ready to just live my life. Live my life as a friend, a brother, an uncle, a son, simply as me. Live my life as an explorer. Live my life as an artist. Simply live my life through discovery.
